Accessibility Statement

El Nuevo Neighborhood Pet Shop, operated by EL NUEVO NEIGHBORHOOD PETSHOP CORP, wants everyone to be able to use elnuevoneighborhood.com to browse our products, place an order, track a parcel and get help. This statement explains the standard we work toward, what we have done so far, the limitations that may still exist and how to reach us if something on the site does not work for you.

Our goal

Our goal is for the website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), describe how to make web content easier to use for people with disabilities, including people who are blind or have low vision, people who are deaf or hard of hearing, and people with motor, speech or cognitive disabilities.

What we have done

Keyboard navigation: menus, links, buttons and forms, including the cart and checkout, are designed to be usable with a keyboard alone.
Visible focus: when you move through the site with a keyboard, the item that has focus is clearly outlined so you can see where you are.
Text alternatives: product images have text descriptions (alternative text) that screen readers can read aloud.
Color contrast: text and important interface elements are designed with enough contrast against their background to be readable.
Reduced motion: if your device is set to reduce motion, the site reduces its animations.
Responsive layout: pages adjust to different screen sizes, so the site can be used on phones, tablets and computers.

Known limitations

Some content on the site may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Some parts of the site, such as the secure card payment form, are provided by third parties, and we have less control over how they work. If you find a page, feature or form that is hard to use, please tell us so we can fix it.
